The Maasverse Wig Guide

Sarah J. Maas has written some of the most compelling characters in romantasy, so it's not hard to see why they're so popular to cosplay. They're so popular in fact, that several of our wigs have been developed to suit the descriptions of her heroines. So whether your favorite Maas series is Crescent City, Throne of Glass, or A Court of Thorns and Roses, we've got some wig suggestions for you!

The Archeron sisters

The Archeron sisters are described as having golden-brown hair with slight differences in tone between them. Elain’s hair is described as the lightest of the sisters and Nesta’s, the darkest. If you’re looking to bring these sisters to life, we recommend our FeyreElain, Nesta, and Malani wigs. Feyre, Elain, and Nesta each come with distinct golden undertones. Each option is meant to offer a different shade of golden brown to best suit your vision of the Archerons. Malani meanwhile is great for those who prefer a straightforward, glossy brunette.

Aelin Galanthinius

Aelin’s hair is described as a golden blonde and at times long enough to reach her waist. Our AelinGoldie and Camelia wigs are the closest matches for that specific golden tone, with the most natural appearance. Some other good choices include Bianca if you prefer a warmer honey-blonde look, and our IvyIbbieInes, and Irina wigs for a sunnier, yellower blonde.

Bryce Quinlan

Bryce Quinlan’s hair is described as a deep wine red that reaches down to her waist. Our Aries wig is the closest match, featuring the deep burgundy tones and long length central to her description. Our AitanaAmaya, and Aria wigs are good choices as well, offering different variations of volume and ginger shades that suit a textured, wavy style. Additionally, the Macey wig is a strong option for those wanting a sleeker, more polished version of Bryce’s hairstyle.

Manon Blackbeak

Manon’s hair is described as long, and silver-white like the moon. For this look, we recommend our Odella and Rhaenyra wigs. Odella is a straight, pale silver wig, while Rhaenyra is a wavy, creamy white. Both come with free parting which makes them excellent for restyling according to your preference. OndinaOslo, and Orla are also great choices if you prefer a curtain bang flourish, or a wavier hair texture.

Amarantha

Although Amarantha’s color changes throughout the books, she’s generally seen as having red-gold hair that she weaves into her crown. For this look, we recommend our Tara and Macey wigs. These wigs have a gorgeous shade of copper ginger that looks like red hair with warm golden undertones. However, if you prefer a deeper wine red, we suggest our Aries wig, and if you prefer a more vivid gold-red tone, we recommend our RohanRooneyRoisin, and Max wigs.

Gwyneth berdara

Gwenyth Berdara hair is described as copper brown and pin straight. Our first suggestions would be Macey and Tara. Both of these wigs have gorgeous copper brown coloring, and although Tara comes wavy, she can be straightened to match Gwyn’s book description. If you’re looking for a more vibrant ginger look, we recommend our Max, Rohan, and Robin wigs which are also all heat-heat resistant and can be straightened.

Emerie

Emerie’s hair is pretty straightforward- dark hair worn in a simple braid. For this look, we recommend our Mabel, Maxwell, Myla, and Bailey wigs. Each wig is long enough to braid, with Bailey being the shortest of the options.

Viviane, the Lady of the Winter Court

There’s not a lot of description about Viviane’s hair other than that it’s silver white. But it’s the lack of description that allows a fair bit of leeway when choosing your wig for this character. We suggest our Odella, Ondina, Oslo, Orla, and Okyu wigs for silver-toned wigs, and Rhaenyra for a creamy white tone.
