We love Rebecca Yarros’ new book Onyx Storm, and decided to make a wig guide for some of her most badass characters! Here’s our list so far:
Violet Sorrengail

Violet Sorrengail’s hair is described as brown at the roots, fading into silver at the ends. It’s a distinct look, and if you’re trying to match it there are a few options that will work well. Our Sorrengail wig is the closest match, with brown roots transitioning into a pearly silver. While the fade isn’t as gradual as in the book, the coloring lends itself well for Violet’s look especially when styled into a striking silver braid laid over the shoulder. Our Nova and Penny wigs are good choices as well but both ombre into ash blonde rather than silver ends.
Lilith Sorrengail

Lilith’s hair is described as brown and cut short for combat. If you’re looking for a similar look, here are some options: Our Gemma and Miriam wigs are both short pixie cuts, with Gemma in a light brown and Miriam in a more natural brown shade. If you prefer a slightly longer option, we suggest our Amber and Greta wigs. Both are bob wigs, with Amber styled in a middle part, and Greta styled with bangs.
Mira Sorrengail

Mia’s hair is described as similar in style to her mother Lilith’s- golden brown cut short for combat. We recommend the same set of wigs: Gemma, Miriam, Amber, and Greta. However, if you’d like a longer length, we recommend Mya, Mila, or Erica. If you’d like to keep it short, but with more texture, we suggest our wavy bob Danielle.
Imogen Cardulo

Imogen’s hair is described as chin-length and bright pink with one side shaved. For a similar look, we recommend our Karter, Katy, and Kate wigs. Both are short, bright pink bobs with bangs. While they don’t have a shaved side, pinning or braiding back a section of hair can emulate the look.
